What Is Non-Surgical Fat Reduction Treatment?

Non-surgical fat reduction treatments for face and body are a group of treatments done with an injection of a medical solution made from naturally occurring chemicals. The “fat dissolving” medications are injected precisely into the localized pockets of excess fat where they cause break down of fat cells and release of fat.  After release from broken down cells, the excess fat is subsequently eliminated through your body’s circulatory system.  We use FDA approved Kybella or deoxycholic acid (DC) 10% for non-surgical double chin reduction and a mixture of phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholic acid 40% (PC/DC) or “Lipodissolve” for body non-surgical localized fat reduction and contouring.

What is Lipodissolve?

Mesotherapy localized fat reduction or Lipodissolve injections in stubborn areas of localized fat is a very popular treatment method to non-surgically reduce pockets of resistant fat. For safety and results, we use an accredited compounding pharmacy to ensure the integrity of the medication and treatment.  Most commonly treated areas for Lipodissolve are: double chin, bra fat, saddle bags, love handles, tummy bulge, inner thighs, upper arms, etc.

 Is Lipodissolve a Safe Treatment?

Yes! Lipodissolve is a safe and effective non-surgical treatment for localized fat reduction when performed by an experienced provider, with a properly compounded Lipodissolve solution. We use the highest quality Lipodissolve solution compounded especially for our patients by an accredited pharmacy in Irving, TX. Interestingly, Kybella was approved earlier last year by FDA for spot fat reduction of submental fat or double chin. Kybella consists of one of the two ingredients in the Lipodissolve fat reduction solution. The problem is that for Lipodissolve to be safe and effective it needs to be obtained from a compounding pharmacy of outstanding credentials and quality control… which is what we do! For your Lipodissolve treatment, our provider marks the areas of excess fat deposits and injects them with the Lipodissolve solution in multiple points to break down fat. Most individual needs a series of Lipodissolve injections for desired results. We recommend starting with a series of three for most medium-sized fat deposits.
